*THIS CAR HAS SOLD*

Just bought a new car, so now I'm selling our old one.

Lovely little car that has served us well on shopping trips, holidays etc.

2003 1.2 16v(valve)Renault Clio in black. It's a special 'Billabong' edition so comes with quite a few optional extras such as automatic wipers, steering audio control, elec windows, sports trim, fog lamps and alloys.

It has an MOT until April 2016. Mileage is 101620. Comes with 2 kets, paperwork, handbooks, spare wheel and locking wheel nut.

In all honesty, it's not perfect and could do with a bit of TLC but it'll still get you from A to B. In the 2 years that we've had the car we've only ever had one problem, the clutch went, so we had it replaced. An engine service light has recently started appearing intermittently.

Mostly everything else works as it should apart from CD player (radio works fine) and the front passenger seat needs a new cable as it currently doesn't tilt forward to allow passengers in the back. We've never really had a problem with this, if we need to get people in the back we do so via the driver's side.

Because of condition and because we need to sell asap it's priced at 550ono.

Feel free to come and have a look or ask any questions, will endeavour to answer where I can. Located on North Cross Rd. Can send more, higher res photos if necessary.

Thanks.

    • Hello! We are relocating abroad and so will be withdrawing our two children (ages 4 and 6) from St Dunstan’s College (Catford). If any family is considering enrolling children of a similar age, now would be an excellent opportunity—we’re required to pay full‑term fees unless the places are taken. Please get in touch if you’re interested or know someone who might be. Thank you!

    • Thanks for your reply. I’ve subscribed to Ancestry a few times in the past but felt I wasn’t using it enough to warrant keeping up the subscription.
    • Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
