Hi everyone,

We have discovered all the original carpets from our house, up in the loft.

If for whatever reason you think they could be of value or interest to someone let me know. And I'll drag them down and supply pics.

Brought down 2x carpets and 1x rug

Rug is the lovely light green with flowers

One of the carpets is unravelled, although I'm not sure if it's meant to be a rug as two ends are finished.

Same applies to the orange and black one still tied up

Bit of a dumpling for not including prices, as a few have mentioned.

Ideally, it'd be great to get ?40 for the lovely green rug. ?65 for the huge red carpet/rug and probably the same for the other one that's rolled up.

Tricky though as I've never sold vintage carpets and rugs!

Hello Bella,

No moth damage. They're in incredibly good condition for being 90 years old. Well, to my untrained eye.

The large red carpet/rug does have a small, inch squared patch of wear towards one of the corners. I assume it would be easy to patch/repair.

Morning, Sue.

Just going on what I've been told by previous owners. And the carpets/rugs were underneath a pile of very old tools, newspaper pages from the 40s, instruction manual from the 30s, one kiddie's boot from only knows when and a yellow formica table that I'm guessing is 30s to 50s (there's my untrained eye again).
