I may expel Mima08 as s/he appears to have stopped playing and it would only deny someone else winning the wooden spoon.

URGENT UPDATE......so to speak

Two games have so far been cancelled this week-end, England v France and New Zealand v Italy. This is due to possible extreme weather conditions as you probably know already, if you are reading this thread.

I don't know how Superbru will deal with this, but suggest that if you haven't locked your picks you put them down as draws. The games will be considered to have been 0-0 draws.

Scotland v Japan is another one that might go the same way.

They've posted this update...

Important Notice

Any matches which cannot be played due to the impact of Typhoon Hagibis will be deemed to be null and void on Superbru with no points awarded for the affected matches, even if the matches are officially recorded as a draw for the tournament's purposes.

We recommend making your picks based on whatever you think the results are likely to be if the matches are played. If the matches are played, points will be awarded as usual. If the matches aren't played, no points will be awarded.

Down to the q/finals now, next week-end. The WP (Win Points) increases to 1.5 per match. If a game goes to extra time the final score after it, is what will count.

No more benefitting from 'default picks' allowed.

It's all kicking off for the semi's this week and looking tasty. Can't wait. :)

"All four nations competing in the Rugby World Cup semi finals held press conferences this morning as they prepare for this weekend's games.

England coach Eddie Jones used his media event to accuse someone of filming his team's training sessions from a nearby apartment block. He also accused some New Zealand journalists of being "fans with keyboards"."

    • Ohh dear.  Fireworks can be great fun.  Where I used to live the kids would have firework wars/games.  Watching them was more enjoyable than watching  TV. (Which you could hardly hear due to the pops and bangs).  It's not like anyone/anything could stop them. I would still prefer organised public displays that are affordable.   And I agree that fireworks cause problems for wild life, pets and people.   It seems to be one of those things that just happens so we have to put up with it.  But it is still not as problematic here as in other areas in London - that's for sure.
    • I made sure to set off a few today just to rile you guys up 😇😂 Always looking for something to criticise
    • Ugly...maybe..does it bother me..NO! I think its somehow reassuring to see theres still phoneboxes around. East Dulwich may  be getrified but there may well be some elderly people who don't have mobiles and kids who may have lost theirs adults ditto etc etc. I'd rather keep it than lose it...just because i don't use it does'nt mean its not needed.  there are many eyesores in the modern world not all of them as potentially useful.
    • I strongly recommend Balayage salon in Lordship lane as everytime I visit, they make me feel very spicial with thier profisionalism and care.   I have been going there for the last 10 years maybe more, and will never exchange them for any other. They are profisional, welcoming and they also always have an offer. I feel like a new woman every time. X
