Herne Hill - Nanny wanted Thursdays and Fridays

Hi,

We need a nanny to pick our 3 year old up from nursery at noon and then later picking our 4 year old from school just after 3pm. That means the times required would be from the noon pick up until 6/6.15 on Thursdays and Fridays. It would be helpful if you could drive and we'd happily add any name onto our car insurance to allow use of our car but this is not essential for the right person. Hours would be longer during school holiday if that suited.

  We just had to have a fair bit of roofing done, along with new guttering and facia replacement (swapping out wooden for pvc) Also chimneys needed repointing & had problems with a large roof light. we didn’t know why we had damp in certain parts of the living room & turns out water was getting in via damaged chimneys. we ended up using vintage roofing and building ltd, & have to say they did a great job, scaffolding went up and work started straight away, they were pleasant & respectful of our property, & tidy. they showed us videos of the damage before starting work, & of the work after it was completed. And we have a 20 year guarantee. We live in a Victorian semi happy to PM you how much it cost us
- Has anyone noticed the intermittent beeping on the Upland Rd / North Cross Rd area

  I’ve been hearing a beeping sound that goes off every 45 - 60 secs 24 hours a day for a few weeks and can’t work out where it’s coming from. You can hear it all the way down the road and I can hear it when I’m at home and it’s starting to drive me a bit crazy, so would love to figure out what it is. Anyone else noticed it?
