Keam
Since the closure of the Iceland carpark the carwash workers are now parking cars awaiting cleaning or collection up and down the street. They already monopolise the parking outside the carwash but residents are unhappy about the carwash encroaching on the whole street. Surely there are legal issues regarding conducting a business in this way on a residential street. Are they insured in case of accidental damage to a residents car? The traffic congestion at the end of the street is unacceptable. The supermarket lorries will soon add to this chaos and when the new development is completed more car parking spaces will be needed by the residents of the new flats. Basically the site is too small and unsuitable for a carwash. It is the owners of the site who need to address these issues.
