Babysitter, super experienced, available for ad-hoc evenings/weekends

Hi EDF parents,

I am looking for families who require adhoc babysitting from someone super trustworthy, fun and capable - for evenings and weekends only as I have a 9-5 job in central London.

I am in my 20s and very, very experienced with children of all ages, in lots of capacities. I've grown up immersed in Montessori environments, I've nannied for newborns, little ones, teens, twins, I've tutored, worked in various nurseries and schools, and taught piano privately. I am "firm but fair" - no pushover but great fun, and I always put building up a good relationship with your child/ren first.

I have a recent police check and live locally near Goose Green. In terms of references you should find quite a few testimonials for me on the forum if you click on my name, I can also give phone numbers too if you enquire.

Also I charge a bit less than what I understand to be the going rate for nanny-babysitters.

If interested send a PM!

Also just to reiterate- I am ONLY free for evening and weekend ad-hoc work. Not daytime babysitting, not piano teaching, not tutoring, not nannying. I am only putting this in as every time I post about babysitting I get lots of enquiries about all those other things.

Thanks!

Anna

Just thought I'd say that having just clicked on my name, half of my previous posts don't seem to be coming up & I get a 404 message when I try to search for them. I don't know why this is, but my testimonials seem to have disappeared - sorry I should have checked before posting that. References are of course available on request.

Apologies if I was not quite clear enough in my original post but I've had a number of hopeful enquiries which would suggest it wasn't: I can NOT be available for any kind of wraparound care or after-school pick ups! Strictly evening babysitting only during the week.

(Edited to add: I am more flexible with times on weekends)

    • My point was in response to this:  "The idea that serving as a local councillor (including dealing with the public, internal party politics - which is always the most vicious where the stakes are lowest, and plenty of unpaid prep work) is a great pathway for careerists and moneygrabbers is utter shite. On a per hour basis you'd be far better off working at Sainsbos."   You could give up your job at sainsbury's and do a councillor's work and be very much better off. Most of these councillors earn this sort of money and still have full time jobs on the side.
    • No. The pool changing rooms are unaffected.   The gym changing rooms (aka dry side) are being refurbished.
    • Thanks for the link Dave. For clarity, the document shows that he receives the standard basic allowance all councillors get and a Senior Responsibility Allowance commensurate with the post he held. He claims no other allowance or any expenses as far as I can see... which makes me wonder what your point might be?
    • At Forrest Hill is there a wall at both ends? Looks like one end is steps on the website.
