Funeral Cortege

I heard the clip-clop of horses' hooves and having not heard them around here for some years I looked out and saw a white funeral carriage and plumed horses followed by about 7 luxury cars. Was it a local dignitary who passed on?

I live on Peckham Rye and it's quite a regular thing to have horse-drawn hearses pass by - always very moving and a great South London tradition.

Thank u for that, yes, she was our mother who lived in east dulwich for over 40 years. She left behind 5 generation of 9 children, 29 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. Love always, she will also be in our hearts.
