We have a lovely shabby chic table that is in need of some loving care to bring out its full potential. It is just a little too big for our space, hence why we are getting rid of it.

This is a big piece of furniture that will seat up to 10 people.

Dimensions are: 206 cm long (extendable to 260 cm with extension piece), 91.5 cm wide and 76 cm high.

The table has been painted white (see photos) but would benefit from a sand down and repaint.

This really could be a beautiful piece of furniture for someone with the space to house it and the patience to restore it to its full beauty.

?40.

Collection only. We are in Brockley SE4.

Just for clarification as several people have asked for further dimensions.

The table legs height/width is approx 74 x 74 cm (see extra photo below) - they cannot be dismantled further than this so might be best to check this would fit in your car/boot if you're collecting with a 'normal' car and the longest/biggest pieces are: 103 x 91 cm (table top) and 157 x 7 cm (wooden struts) - see also extra photo below.

Just to confirm as per original message we are in Brockley, SE4. PM for more details.

Thanks everyone.

    • Hello! We are relocating abroad and so will be withdrawing our two children (ages 4 and 6) from St Dunstan’s College (Catford). If any family is considering enrolling children of a similar age, now would be an excellent opportunity—we’re required to pay full‑term fees unless the places are taken. Please get in touch if you’re interested or know someone who might be. Thank you!

    • Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
