disappearing threads

I don't know if this is something for Admin, but are random threads disappearing from the site and if so why?

I saw a thread about a week ago about someone overhearing 'burglars' talking outside their flat which I can't now find and today a thread that I started myself about new films in SE22 seems to have vanished.

We do move threads so I expect the burglar one is still around somewhere. Apologies about your film thread, it was deactivated but I'm not sure why. I've reactivated it.
