As an East Dulwich resident, I'd love to invite fellow skiers in the area to attend THE ski movie event of the season!

We are thrilled to be back at the Ham Yard Theatre for a second year, with the exclusive UK screening of MSP Films latest epic movie "Fade to Winter." (That's a door to door service on the number 12!)

Holmlands Events, in association with Surefoot London, is very proud to present MSP Films, "FADE TO WINTER" - a 4k ultra high definition film. Featuring jaw-dropping action from Alaska, Iceland, British Columbia, Japan, Colorado, Italy, and New England, this film captures the spirit of nine skiers who go to great lengths for the sport that they love. Starring Markus Eder, Bobby Brown, Michelle Parker, Mark Abma, Tanner Rainville, Aaron Blunck, James Heim, Sean Jordan, PK Hunder, and others.

This exclusive UK screening is being hosted in the 190 seat state-of-the-art Ham Yard Theatre at the Ham Yard Hotel near Piccadilly. Bar facilities will be available at the theatre?s ?Dive Bar,? with raffle tickets available to buy on the night to stand a chance of winning loads of amazing prizes including ski holidays, customised fitted ski boots,a magnum of champagne and a deep tissue massage treatment at Therapy in East Dulwich (amongst many others!).

10% of all proceeds from this very special event will be donated directly to Disability Snowsport UK.

    • But... you returned at 4.03pm... 🤷‍♀️
    • Hello, Does anyone know of any climbing, basketball or badminton clubs that are local to Peckham, East Dulwich? My son’s weekends are full of football and rugby training but I’m struggling to keep him busy (off a screen!) on week evenings. I’ve looked into the London Community boxing but sessions sadly start at 4.30 and he’s not back from school until 5.  Any recommendations gratefully received!
    • Be careful out there  !   I got a ticket for 1 minute over  on Lordship Lane   ---- with a blue badge , on a single yellow ...    I returned at 4.03pm to find the ticket -- he waited till 4.01pm with ticket and then scarpered  Naturally i appealed it and this was the response   We refer to the informal challenge you have made against the issue of the Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) JK17113680 You were parked on a single yellow line with one yellow kerb marking. There is a sign at the location advising that no loading is permitted Monday-Friday, 7 am to 10 am, and then 4 pm to 7 pm. Loading is permitted for a maximum of 40 minutes between 10 am and 4 pm, and then again after 7 pm. You were observed parked at 4:01 pm. and therefore issued a PCN for parking at a time when the rule applies. The purpose of this rule is to improve traffic flow and safety at all times. This contravention is immediately enforceable, and therefore, a PCN can be issued straight away as no observation period is needed. This rule applies to disabled badge holders, too; it is not a situation where you may use your disabled badge. Although your Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) was correctly given, we have cancelled it on this occasion, as a gesture of goodwill. Please note that this cancellation does not set a precedent for other PCNs issued in the future under similar circumstances, as each case is dealt with on its own merits. Yours sincerely Anita Hayler Southwark Parking
