Spanish Au pair wanted for October start

We are an English family looking for a Spanish au pair with a teaching degree to care for our twins, a girl and a boy aged 4 and a half.

The children love going to the park, playground, museums, local play groups and playing with friends.

We would like our new au pair to help our children get ready in the mornings and also to care for them in the afternoon and early evening.

As both children have just started at the local school, it is important that your level of English is good.

Our previous Spanish au pairs have loved the children and learnt a great deal of language skills with us and also attended a local language school.

We offer a comfortable home, in a safe leafy part of South East London. We are 15 minutes away from central London by mainline train. There are also buses, with links to the tube/underground (Brixton), train (north Duwlich and Herne Hill) and light rail (DLR). It's really easy for you to travel around.

General hours will be 7:15am - 8:50am then 2pm - 7:15pm and some babysitting. (The course at the college is from 09:30am to 11:30am, is easy to get to. Our au pair goes Tuesday and Thursday and has the option to also go on Saturdays).

Babysitting is for a few hours twice a week. One of those days will be on a weekend - perhaps a Friday evening or Saturday or Sunday during the day or evening.

Cleaning and housework will be required within the agreed hours. It is probably better if you have lived away from home so you know how to do the chores or that you are willing to learn.

We love cooking and it is important to us that our au pair is able to make a few Spanish meals - Spanish omelette, pisto, roasted chicken etc. You will cook for the family one night a week.
