New course at Belair House, starting January 2016!

Learn how to interact, communicate and bond with your baby through POSITIVE NURTURING TOUCH from SoLo Baby Massage - a great course for new mums and babies up to 1 year old. I work in Crystal Palace, Dulwich, Peckham, Norwood and surrounding areas running group and private classes. See details of all my courses at www.solobabymassage.com/booking

Studies have shown that baby massage can help your baby feel more relaxed, improve sleep and even offer relief from health problems such as colic.

It's also beneficial for parents too. Baby massage is a great way to bond with your baby and start socialising with your new family, before your little one is old enough to enjoy music and sensory classes. On the SoLo course, you'll find out all the benefits of baby massage, and you can read more about this at www.solobabymassage.com/about

I'm fully trained with the International Association of Infant Massage (CIMI) and CRB checked - and co-founder of London-based parenting site, maternityleavelife.com.

    • They used to have dedicated park wardens, who I'm sure used to look after the parks and locked and opened the gates. Years ago I knew someone who was one. I thought they were based in that hut by the toilets. Are they not there any more? The community wardens are attached to the police rather than a specific park, aren't they?
    • Yes, sad how Rye Lane has taken a dive, interesting to see those pics CPR Dave. It's shocking how the section between Choumert Road and the Nag's Head in particular has lost its vibrancy, meanwhile the next section to the top of Peckham Rye Common has gentrified. Wonder why such a distinction in fortunes? Anyway the station square plans have fallen behind yet again, demolition won't now start this summer. The only "work" that will now take place this summer is surveying of the arcade, which they've had 10 years since planning permission to do. At least the replacement TSB branch has progressed but the Blenheim Grove corner building still looks unfinished, despite claims it "is now complete". https://www.southwark.gov.uk/planning-environment-and-building-control/current-and-future-development/peckham-and-nunhead-2
    • DKH was two form entry, it is now one form entry to cope with the fact it was far more under subscribed than other schools in the area. They had actually combined year groups into single classes, 3/4 and 5/6.  When a school changes name, it’s usually because of a bad reputation perhaps the results.  The new name is dry with no history unlike its current name. It’s a very sketchy decision. It’s an expensive vanity project for someone.  What  will happen if the name change does not increase applications to the school?
