I can't remember if Grafton Dance Academy moved location and used to be on Half Moon Lane (and their old premises has their sign still). I remember hearing something like that!

My daughter just started at Dulwich Ballet School and loves it. They have both ballet, tap and also modern dance.

Not sure what age your kids are but my children have been at the grafton dance academy for the past 1-5years, from the age of 5 (depending on which one)I have 2 girls and a typical boy - they all love it. One has a real talent, the other two dance for fun and unusually with the range of diversity it suits all three. The most able has always acieved very high A grade passes and has had the oportunity to enter dance festivals which has really helped her confidence in all aspects of her life (the medals are an added bonus!)

I think the confusion has arisen:) because The old grafton dance academy is currently moving - will be in a FANTASTIC new venue from the end of october - can't wait, not only does it still have the same great teachers, but the facilities will be top notch, two studios with barres, mirrors etc (the sprung floors being particulaly important if your kid goes on to do a lot of dance) The location is also pretty good if you have other children to entertain whilst one is danceing, there are cafes, nice shops and Brockwell park for when the weather is good. There will also be a waiting room where kids can get on with homework etc, and the parents can have a sit down. The new website will be www.southlondondancestudios.co.uk

The address is 130 Herne Hill , SE24 9QL Tel:020 7978 8624 which is just down the road from the Grafton.

Really looking forward to starting at the new school - watch this space!!!

    • You literally just edited your earlier reply to remove the point you made about it being “politicians”.  Then you call me pathetic.    I’m  not trying to say you approve any of the ugly right wing nonsense.  But I AM Saying your earlier post suggesting  violent rhetoric being “left wing” was one-sided and incorrect
    • I never said that. Saying I don’t like some of the rhetoric coming from the left doesn’t mean I approve of Farage et al saying that Afghans being brought here to protect their lives and thank them for their service means there is an incalculable threat to women.    Anything to score a cheap point. It’s pretty pathetic.
    • To be fair we are as hosed as the majority of other countries post-Covid. The problem is Labour promised way too much and leant in on the we need change and we will deliver it and it was clear to anyone with a modicum of sense that no change was going to happen quickly and actually taking the reigns may have been a massive poison- chalice. As Labour are finding to their cost - there are no easy answers.  A wealth tax seems straightforward but look how Labour have U-turned on elements of non-dom - why? Because the super rich started leaving the country in their droves and whilst we all may want them to pay more tax they already pay a big chunk already and the government saw there was a problem.
    • You don’t think there are right-wing politicians fanning this with rhetoric? Really?
