**nanny share available. F.Hill. Wed & Thurs**

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

I am a nanny who loves working along with families in the Forest Hill area, especially walking distance of the

Horniman Museum. My days for nannying are Wednesdays & Thursdays 8am -5pm ish.

Due to the recent move of one of our nanny share families, we are now looking for a new local family to join us.

I am looking after one 4 year old girl, so a toddler or baby joining us would be really great. I have been part

of many very successful nanny shares, which I really enjoy. We are flexible where we are based. We always have

loads of fun, out & about & at home. Arts & crafts & imaginative play, but I think crazy dancing is top of the list.

I am a British nanny with 15 years experience. C.R.B checks, first aid & can re-register with Ofsted, if required. I really do enjoy my role & especially assisting & nurturing in the formative years. Over the years I have had the privilege of working along side some amazing families with wonderful fun loving children.

Please private message me for more information.

Thank you so much.

From Claire B

Below are my two current employers references.

I can vouch for Claire being an amazing nanny. She has looked after our 4 year-old daughter for the past three years.

We have always been so impressed by Claire's creative ideas for play and intelligent, calm, child-centred approach. My daughter has such fun in her care. Feel free to PM me for a more detailed reference.

Claire has been looking after our daughter for more than two years and we really could not have asked for a better nanny. We are also moving out of London and already know the whole family is going to miss Claire deeply.

She is faultlessly caring, loving and gentle, and has helped our daughter grow through a great variety of creative play and activities. The Wednesdays and Thursdays Claire comes are one of the highlights of our daughter's week.

Feel free to PM for further details, but Claire is truly special.

    • Off topic, but when I was a kid in Streatham, long ago, apart from the milkman (rarely if ever milkwoman),  who also delivered yoghurt - very exotic - in little glass jars, we also had regular deliveries of coal, bread and cheesecakes (not the kind we know now, they had coconut on top), fruit and veg,  and paraffin (both pink and blue). I'm not entirely sure we have lost "something amazing" by buying milk in shops. The glass bottles were left on the doorstep and the metallic tops were pecked through by birds getting at the cream/milk. Or else the bottles were nicked.  And then there was the rag and bone man.... bell and horse and cart, just like Steptoe. God I'm old. We didn't have supermarket deliveries. We didn't have supermarkets. I remember the first supermarket opening in Streatham. It  was quite amazing having to walk round and  put your own shopping in a basket. As you were ..... Sorry OP and admin.
    • Yep, I hear you. Been waiting for modern milkman to these parts and plan to try them out. I still remember Dennis, our Egg-man, from my childhood, who used to deliver dozens in his Citroen 2C and came to collect the boxes the following week. Happy Days.
    • I always feel we lost something amazing when we moved away from home milk delivery with glass bottles using electric floats to driving to supermarkets and buying milk in plastic bottles. Hindsight says we should have valued the good old milky more
