A visit to the horniman is always good (look at the fishes)

Swimming at peckjam pulse though not sure of the days they do for babies, and it can be hard to get a ticket.

There is another warm pool about, not sure where it is... search the forum? (Beckenham spa is good but not terribly warm)

The library has stuff on, but i can't get my twins in there, so not an expert.

leapers at Rye oak primary is tuesday i think

afternoons ther eis the one o'c clock club at p rye. Get there early if you want to get inside

Think Peckham Pulse swim sessions are at 3pm - lovely shallow warm pool. I've never had a problem getting in on a weekday (other than in school holidays, that is).

On Tuesdays there is a baby play session, including storytelling and singing, at Grove Vale Library from 10.30am-12pm.

Other activities, on Fridays: once it reopens (currently being renovated), the Albrighton Centre on Dog Kennel Hill opp Sainsburys has lots of good stuff. Supposed to be Baby dance 10-10.30am, musical instruments 10.45-11.15am, with sensory play 9.30am-11.30am last Friday in month. And once your baby is walking they will love the tiny gym at Camberwell Leisure Centre (10-11am for the littler ones).

    • There are planes going to more than one London airport. It's been discussed on here before, but I can't remember the exact details. Also if memory serves it depends on the prevailing wind exactly what route the planes take on a particular day, but I may be wrong there. Or maybe they vary the route so the same people don't get the noise each time? I moved here (also North Cross Road area) over thirty years ago and the plane noise has always been bad. I don't think it's got any worse, though it may have done. It has always started around 5am or a bit earlier ( on the days the planes take that route, I suppose?) Concord used to fly over around 5pm each day. That was excellent. It always seemed to be directly over my house, but due to the height of planes I guess many people think they are directly over their house! Triple glazing in my bedroom has helped, but not completely,  though it wasn't installed for that reason.
    • Morning All,  Looking for the above - anyone got one lurking around looking for a new home before I go and buy one new.  My project for the long winter nights! Thanks in advance.
