Room to rent in Camberwell ...with a sunset view.

There's a room to let in our flat on the trendy Camberwell/Peckham border, five minutes from the Peckham Pelican, the pubs and restaurants of Camberwell and leafy Burgess Park.

There's loads of space in the two floor maisonette including separate kitchen/ diner and living room with a west facing balcony, bathrooms and bedrooms on a different floor, and heaps of storage space. The bedroom has a brand new matress, a new wardroom and freshly painted walls. The whole house has recently received a lick of paint ...new pictures to follow.

It's well connected, at 25 mins from London Bridge and 15 mins walk from the Overground at Peckham Rye. And cycling's even quicker!

It's available from 19th November at ?700 pm plus bills (though heating is included, we'll explain) to share with Ed, and his extensive noughties CD collection.

Please share this around. For anyone interested, get in touch with Ed and Bea and come over for a viewing and a cup of tea.

    • Thanks very much for that.   I think the better informed we are, the better our discussions will be. The article contained: "That arrest had quite an impact on the [phone theft] numbers for the following month,” said Green.  Here's another indicator, admittedly a piece of police PR,  of how well-targeted police efforts, mostly invisible to us,  can when successful  seriously affect offending figures: https://news.met.police.uk/news/met-police-drive-down-theft-and-robbery-by-84-percent-in-battersea-and-nine-elms-500495.
    • Another excellent article from Jim Waterson's London Centric reporting https://www.londoncentric.media/p/kitchen-foil-and-algerian-markets?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email Interesting that there seem to be favoured and repeated routes for phone snatching for particular thieves.  Seems ED might be one of them ☹️
    • Anywhere near the Overground/Windrush due to its excellent transport links.  You will get larger place in SE23 for example that will give you enough spare cash for private school if that's what you really want but states schools generally good, reflecting the demographic  Easy to get to the bustling streets of East Dulwich but in ten years see what happens to Forest Hill centre.  The whole of the area is full of green spaces. Access to East Croydon for days out in the South Coast
