Can anyone recommend a company for an extremely thorough building survey on a residential property? Thanks!

We used William Wates of fedalah (www.fedalahltd.co.uk) when we needed a full structural survey of a property we were looking to buy in East Dulwich. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

We used Mortimer and Carey (www.mortimerandcarey.co.uk) and were very pleased (in fact we've used them twice).

Whatever you do, DO NOT upgrade the bank-supplied one they do the valuation with. They are generally awful.

Hi everyone

Any recommendations/guidelines around what cost I can expect for first floor flat in converted Victorian in Peckham? Also - I do want to get the foundation of the house looked at as I am certain there is Japanese Knot weed..?
