Hiya, am new to the forum. Just wanted to share a little find with everyone. Just got back from an amazing weekend in France - stayed in this absolutely adorable chateau near la Rochelle, 8 beds, totally funky, boho chic. Loved the heated pool and days spent at the coast.

As we were leaving, the owners, a really lovely Kiwi couple, said that if we knew anyone who wanted to rent over half term, they had a two week cancellation - if anyone was interested they would probably go for a half price deal.

Not sure if I can post their website here so pop me a message and I will pass you over to the owners.

well worth the trip if you haven't already booked your half terms.

Others had looked him up on Google apparently ... just as well he has links with the Free Speech Union. #Colonialism #Empire #Slavery #SlaveTrade ... if you feel you can risk it, here is that man:
    • "Unfortunately, over the GALA period the park pond has suddenly become littered with plastic cups and bottles that have been thrown into the water (I assume thrown as not sure how else they would get in there). This may be pure coincidence but prior to last weekend the pond was clear. Does park management have a way to get onto the pond and fish all the plastic rubbish out, I wonder? It can't be good to leave it." it's been very windy the past few days, could be down to that
