Hello,

We have a lovely nanny who is looking for extra work.

Dosybel looks after our 10-month-old son on Monday, Wednesday, Friday.

She is looking for work on Tuesday and Friday mornings, from 8am-6pm.

Or babysitting any night from 7pm

Work in the Peckham/Camberwell area would be great.

Dosybel is an extremely nice, intelligent woman and our son adores her.

Ofsted registration is in process.

She has a recent paediatric first aid certificate.

Degree-level education.

Speaks English and Spanish.

In her own words:

"I am an extremely reliable 37-year-old mother with a passion for children that drives everything I do. I have over five years' experience looking after children, both as a nanny and with my own 3 year old son, my nephew (2) and niece (3). I have found it very exciting to be one-on-one with children and foster their development and also undertake professional development courses such as Paediatric First Aid to further my skills. Therefore I am prepared and experienced to do an excellent job looking after babies and very young children, including when they are ill. I have a cheerful, sociable personality and am well organised and calm under pressure. I am patient and caring and I love children and extending their interests both at home and outside."

For more information, please DM me or email her direct at [email protected].

Many thanks,

Nell

    • I don't know how it works now but my late parents had little money when they were retired (just state pension and they rented their flat) and they used to take their cat to the Blue Cross (In Victoria if I remember correctly) where treatment was free for those who could'nt afford a private vet. I sincerely hope similar is available still because for many elderly their pet is their main source of comfort and company.
    • In a couple of places locally, I have come across this. I am fairly sure that they attempt to do the bill in their head. If you just say , “no, I think it’s x” they start again and get to an agreeable number, or find a calculator. I don’t think it’s a malicious attempt to swindle people. Just not great arithmetic.
    • There are excellent charities like the Greenwich Wildlife Network who will help if you report any concerns with local wildlife. Foxes are wonderful creatures who had been forced into our town and cities and are just doing their best to survive, we should take care of them when we can.
