Go see the Robot Zoo at the Horniman. It's flipping ace. It's only got a few weeks to run but you really shouldn't miss it and now it's the end of the run it's quiet. We went Tuesday afternoon and were only folk in there.

It's not too big, it's not over-priced, it's just interactive enough.

It's even been worth the nightmares my toddlers been having ever since about the robot giraffe and robot ant.

it's really worth getting a family season ticket for exhibits like this. I think we paid ?26 and then you have unlimited admission for the whole time the exhibit's on for 2 adults and 2 children. So you can keep going again and again, or go with a mate and their child if you haven't got the whole family with you. Think under 3's go free any way - you'd have to check on that point - maybe it's under 5's. Think Robot Zoo's coming to an end 8th November though.

    • Wow!  Is this the remnants of a wood pigeon?  We occasionally see the feathers following a kill but only once have I seen the hawk in the garden and certainly not like your experience.
