Stunning 2 bed garden flat available to rent

I have a stunning, bright 2 bedroom garden flat on Barry Road which is available to rent from 1 December.

The flat has a living/dining room with an exposed brick wall which is perfect for entertaining. It has lovely sofas, one of which doubles as a sofa bed and a dining table.

There's a nice big master bedroom and a second, slightly smaller double bedroom which has a beautiful view of the garden - a great way to wake up on a morning!

The kitchen has the usual dishwasher, washing machine and tall fridge freezer and the bathroom has been recently refurbished.

There is direct access to a beautiful 30ft garden which has a gorgeous decked area and is perfect for summer BBQs.

The flat is on Barry Road, near the junction of Upland Road which is just a stone's throw (about a 3 minute walk) from all of the lovely shops and bars of Lordship Lane. It is on the doorstep of the lovely Saturday market on Northcross Road. It's about a 10 minute walk to East Dulwich station which is less than 15 minutes on the train to London Bridge station.

The local pub, The Clockhouse, is utterly delightful and I've wiled away many a lovely evening there. Parking is on street and doesn't require a permit.

Rent is ?1350 a month, excluding bills and I ask tenants to undergo a credit check (under ?50 per person).

Please pm me if you would like further details.

Hello,

I just read your message and I quickly decided to reply.

I would be really interesting to have the opportunity to view the flat. We are a pensioner couple and my 30 years old son. Looking to move ASAP,as the Landlord has an intention to sell the House.

Have been living at 58,Goodrich Road for over 7 years, and would love to stay around the area as my husband is under treatment at King College Hospital and currently awaiting for a surgery. Can definitely pay Deposit, rent in advance and provide reference from Landlord, also there wouldn't be problem pay for credit check

Hope to hear back from you.

Thanks in advance.

Andres, ( Betty's son )

    • First of all, conversations with people who aren't Corbyn supporters are obviously going to tell you why those people didn't vote for him, aren't they? Second (and I don't know why I have to keep on saying this) the electoral system worked against him in terms of seats lost. If you look at the actual numbers of votes per party, yes Labour was behind, but not by as much as it appeared if just seats were counted. Thirdly, that poll was of "nearly 500" people who stopped voting Labour. That's not a very big sample, is it? Of those, 35% said it was because of Jeremy Corbyn's leadership (i.e. 65% had other reasons). Even upping the numbers to  500 people, 35% is 175. 10,269,051  people did actually vote Labour in that election. It's a long time since I used statistics for anything, so please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think anything you have said is "evidence"!
    • Dog kennel isn't a great name for a school. I agree that it's ridiculous for the name to put anyone off going there, but don't see any issue with them rebranding if the parents and children prefer a new name. The school is surrounded by historical 'groves' (reflected in the names of Camberwell Grove, Grove park and Grove Vale for example), so it's not a totally random name.
    • It might help if there are body cams to record evidence and a presence maybe a deterrent but I very much doubt a park warden would intervene with obnoxious and violent thugs - children or not. We need police for that.
    • I had a leaky toilet cistern and Niko came out the same day and not only fixed the leak but thoroughly cleaned off the years of calcium build-up. His attention to detail was matched by his kind humanity. The result was a completely renovated toilet which has never worked more efficiently as well as 'service with a smile'. MANY THANKS NIKO!!!
