Mums In Business IS still in business, despite the debacle of last month! Unfortunately a member of staff at the venue was injured and we had to cancel the meeting at the last minute. I sent e-mails to everyone on the list, but didn't have access to the forum, so apologies to those who turned up!

We ARE meeting next Wednesday (11th November) at 8 at All Fired Up.

I'm waiting to hear if Beverley can give us a short presentation on accounting for small businesses, but if she's not available, we can have a round table and general discussion.

Look forward to seeing you next week.

    • Well thanks for enriching the conversation.  Would you chuck Fah - rage in too for his tax avoidance on his property?   I expect it was lead story on Jeremy Vine too.  Doesn't make it a story, just a bit more of BBC tabloid style sensationalism.  There are numerous real news stories in the UK and across the world.  And now, apt for Halloween, you have summoned up the ghost of Louisa. So for the third time, will you now eat humble pie?
    • It's firework season now up until early Jan 2026. Starting with celebrating the failure of terrorist Guy Fawkes on November 5th! BOOM!
    • Get used to it! 'major incidents' are a regular occurrence these days! some ignored by mainstream media.
