Builder recommendation

For anyone looking for a local builder I thought I would share the contact for our builder Philip. Philip has so far put in a new wooden floor and insulation on the ground floor in our house.It looks fantastic and Philip has made the skirting boards look perfect which given the uneven walls was a very time consuming and very detailed job. The floor looks stunning throughout. He has also done an excellent job putting in a new kitchen, and making beautiful looking shelves.

He is currently doing up our bathroom and putting up granite wall tiles which are quite hard to cut and handle but he had made the shower enclosure look great! Philip lives locally and is very reliable and trustworthy. His quotes are quite reasonable too. I like that that he gives advice not just do what is asked of him as he has nice taste and gives options on materials and on sourcing them.

  Most of the groceries shops in Lordship Lane have a security presence…curious thing is I and another woman recently saw a shop lifter lift and not pay for a couple of packet of steaks, veg and bottle of wine.. Literally walked Pat the tills, one member of staff and security guard despite someone else going in front by a few people and mentioning person in question! I have to say, speechless and admired their bravado - I would not have the guts and knowing my luck, if I accidentally didn’t put something tru the till despite receipt would prob get stopped! Yes, worked with families, homeless and other people who were struggling for food so I do understand why they do it.. sad when you think about it, that in this day and age, all sorts of c people need assistance and help from community in general, food banks, olio etc….

  Just not keen to have all these things in my body… having said that, thinking about Covid again as need to come to London to two hospitals for poss overnight stays.
