Part-time nanny role or au pair position

Hello

We are looking for after school childcare starting from January. We have two boys; one is aged 4 and is at Heber. He will need collecting from Heber at 3.20pm Monday to Wednesday and our two year old is at a local Montessori nursery and will need collecting on those days. You will need to make the boys tea and do homework with our eldest and look after them until we get home at 7pm (sometimes 8pm). We also have a small dog and ideally we would like him to have a little walk.

We ideally would like somebody who can offer some babysitting when needed and school holiday/ sickness cover. If more hours are needed and somebody is interested in doing the housekeeping/ cleaning and additional dog walking alongside the childcare then we can discuss this as well. We will also consider an au pair role for the right person.

Please PM me if you are interested!

Helen

    • Thanks James. I will correct my posts referencing full time work. His register of interests simply states "Primary School Teacher" without mentioning that it is limited hours.  https://moderngov.southwark.gov.uk/mgDeclarationSubmission.aspx?UID=50001002&HID=2492&FID=0&HPID=0   The same claim is made elsewhere without mentioning part time or limited hours: https://x.com/mcash?lang=en : "Primary School Teacher" "I am a teacher and this is my publicly stated desire to overthrow capitalism."   https://southwarknews.co.uk/featured/breaking-news-james-mcash-defects-to-the-green-party-seven-months-after-his-southwark-labour-leadership-victory-was-overturned/ "McAsh went on to say that “as a primary school teacher, trade unionist, and socialist, my values and principles have not changed, but they are no longer consistent with the Labour Party,” but added that they “are consistent with the Green Party”." https://southwarklabour.com/profile/james-mcash/ "James is a local primary school teacher "   All of this implies regular employment as  full time teacher.
    • The original title said a car had hit a pedestrian. We don’t have driverless cars yet, hopefully when we do there will be fewer collisions.
    • Most Councillors work full time and are councillors in their spare time. Some become full time councillors with Cabinet positions. Done well these are really full time roles. Imagine trying to sort out Southwark Council Housing where only half of repairs calls are completed. Utter chaos.  The current administration introduced a lot of deputy roles with extra allowances. My lot have long argued these need to be significantly parred back.  Interestingly James McAsh has been claiming a full time Cabinet position Special Responsibility Allowance which means he must be working less than 11hrs pw or not at all in a normal job such as being a teacher.
