For sale is my loved 15" Macbook Pro. It is the mid 2009 model so it sports the fast 2.66ghz intel chip set. I've added extra memory so it has 8gb of ram and a 350gb drive. Works perfectly and runs extremely smoothly. There are a few scuffs and marks but nothing that is life threatening. I use it for Photoshop as I'm a designer and it can handle anything you throw at it.

The trackpad left click stopped working ages ago but as the gesture click works perfectly, one finger tap left click, two fingers right, three dragged to select etc, so it isn't really an issue at all. A new track pad on ebay is 30.00 if you are that bothered or magic mouse or magic track pad, but this one works fine really so not really an issue I'd say.

It's running OS 10.9.5 as this is currently the most stable and will be until El Capitan gets it's act together.

What more can I say, it works perfectly and is a great machine that has never once given me an issue.

I'll reset it to factory settings.

Any questions please do hesitate to ask, priced to sell at ?300.00 or very nearest offer so please no ?50 offers etc.

Cheers & Merry Christmas!

    • Hello! We are relocating abroad and so will be withdrawing our two children (ages 4 and 6) from St Dunstan’s College (Catford). If any family is considering enrolling children of a similar age, now would be an excellent opportunity—we’re required to pay full‑term fees unless the places are taken. Please get in touch if you’re interested or know someone who might be. Thank you!

    • Thanks for your reply. I’ve subscribed to Ancestry a few times in the past but felt I wasn’t using it enough to warrant keeping up the subscription.
    • Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
