Spacious double room in Camberwell

There's a room to let in our flat on the trendy Camberwell/Peckham border, five minutes from the Peckham Pelican, the pubs and restaurants of Camberwell and leafy Burgess Park. It's also a fifteen minute walk from Kings Hospital, if any hospital staff are looking for somewhere to live.

There's loads of space in the two floor maisonette including separate kitchen/ diner and living room with a west facing balcony on which tomatoes are growing. The bathrooms and bedrooms on a different floor and there is heaps of storage space. The bedroom has a brand new matress, a new wardrobe and freshly painted walls. The whole house has recently received a lick of paint and a new kitchen floor ...you can see some photographs by following this link (although they were taken before the new floor):

It's well connected, at 25 mins from London Bridge and 15 mins walk from the Overground at Peckham Rye. And cycling's even quicker!

It's available now at ?700 pm plus bills (though heating is included, we'll explain) to share with Ed, and his extensive noughties CD collection.

Please share this around. For anyone interested, get in touch with Ed and Bea and come over for a viewing and a cup of tea.

Thanks,

Bea and Ed

    • They are. We are back to the same construction racket 8am-8pm every day for the whole of this week. The wall is one of the last things to come down, probably on Saturday. Then we can see how much of a mess they've made, especially the quantity of non-biodegradeable litter trampled into the earth. GALA 2025 - Production Schedule.pdf

    • @Rockets be a sweety and stop using the large font, it's annoying and I expect most can comprehend. Still not sure how this festival affects you.  Or is it a case that you just like taking on causes
    • It is intimidating looking through the book sections now.  I sometimes wonder if they're stocking bookshops' remainders. OTOH, when I put  some books out in a cardboard box for taking, it was  encouraging to see that a fair proportion of those taken were aged hardbacks.
