Might be a bit early to think about it but was just wondering if anybody knows of any good pubs to be in for NYE. I've got the mother-in-law coming to stay so would need to find a place that would be suitable for her. A pub with a live band would do the trick, I reckon.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

The Thomas More Club normally have a band on new years eve. You don't have to be Irish and it's nice and friendly. Opposite John Barnett shoeshop on Lordship Lane. You don't have to be a member but entrance is usually about ?5.
