This is an additional concert to our regular monthly schedule. Thanks to The Ivy House who gave us a night which became available due to a cancellation.

All the artists, organisers, sound technician and poster designer are giving their time for free.

All ticket proceeds (less a small amount towards artists? travel expenses) will go to Help Refugees, a charitable fund under the auspices of Prism the Gift fund (we have to word it like that for legal reasons, sorry ?? )

Help Refugees are a volunteer group providing practical help such as building shelters and providing heaters for refugees in Calais and Lesbos.

  • 4 weeks later...

Only three tickets left.

Be quick if you want to go!

The last three are on at full price as it gets too complicated otherwise, however if you need a concession please message me and I will change one to a concession. If you're in time :)

This is now SOLD OUT, sorry.

If you want to go, your only hope of a ticket is to see if the Ivy House has anybody on their list of people with tickets they can't use, which we activate when a concert has sold out.

Looking forward to a great night :)

We made around ?2500 for Help Refugees from ticket sales, raffle and donations. Havent worked it out in detail yet. Thanks so much to the artists, sound technician, helpers on the night and everybody else who gave their time for free.

    • When I had a property with a basement there would often be a pool of water in the centre. I was told it was related to the fluctuating height of the water table in the area (se22) and would not become a problem and the only way to get rid of it would be to get the whole place completely tanked.
    • We've got a Victorian coal hole cellar with a mud floor and after a couple of severe water leaks, I've taken more of an interest in the state of the dampness.  I've been running a dehumidifier for the past couple of weeks following a small water pipe leak and whilst most of the floor is now bone dry, there are damp patches along most of the wall adjoining the next house, a large damp patch in the middle of the floor that will not dry even with the dehumidifier right next to it and a patch of wet mud in a small hollow in the middle of the cellar.  An expert that lent us industrial drying equipment following a flood from a burst mains pipe said there will always be damp, but I'm a bit concerned in case there is a fundamental problem - any ideas from anyone with similar?
