New POLITICIANS section please

Over on the regular EDF specific forum, some have suggested a new separate room/area for politicians to contact us on should be started. I agree. What do you think?

I do not think there is currently a need, they have only posted a few new threads on the forum and generally use it to interact with people in a decent fashion. It is better for them to discuss issues with people in the General East Dulwich issues/section of the forum rather than creating a Politicians section that most people would avoid.

However if they spam the forum by continually promoting themselves they will be told off.

"the interaction with people in a decent fashion" is just political canvassing for votes. it's ultimately no more than that.

I would rather politicians and councillors interacted with people on this forum than not. If some people view it as "political canvassing" so be it but please remember that some people simply see it as a way to interact with politicians and councillors.

I'd be against it as I quite like having a dig at them out on the Forum...that would be a bit (or more?) out of order if they had their own little section.
