My partner and I are looking for a 2 bed property with some kind of outside space, balcony or garden. We're professionals in our thirties working in financial services and telecoms. We don't smoke and we don't have any pets. We have a bit of flexibility on move date. Our budget is ?1,500. If you have something suitable we'd love to hear from you.

Hello

I have a 2 bed apartment at 479 Lordship Lane (the block is about 10 years old) it is unfurnished and ready to let. It has a lovely view from the terrace. Two years ago it was let for ?1400 and I would be happy to let it at ?1500.

It does not have a lift though but is very secure and has private parking/ bike shed.

I can send photos if you are interested.

Regards

    • Thanks very much for that.   I think the better informed we are, the better our discussions will be. The article contained: "That arrest had quite an impact on the [phone theft] numbers for the following month,” said Green.  Here's another indicator, admittedly a piece of police PR,  of how well-targeted police efforts, mostly invisible to us,  can when successful  seriously affect offending figures: https://news.met.police.uk/news/met-police-drive-down-theft-and-robbery-by-84-percent-in-battersea-and-nine-elms-500495.
    • Another excellent article from Jim Waterson's London Centric reporting https://www.londoncentric.media/p/kitchen-foil-and-algerian-markets?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email Interesting that there seem to be favoured and repeated routes for phone snatching for particular thieves.  Seems ED might be one of them ☹️
    • Anywhere near the Overground/Windrush due to its excellent transport links.  You will get larger place in SE23 for example that will give you enough spare cash for private school if that's what you really want but states schools generally good, reflecting the demographic  Easy to get to the bustling streets of East Dulwich but in ten years see what happens to Forest Hill centre.  The whole of the area is full of green spaces. Access to East Croydon for days out in the South Coast
