To achieve high grades at GCSE English Language and Literature, students need to learn to read actively, spotting nuances and implied meaning in a wide range of texts. They must also learn how to craft their writing, consciously selecting the right tools to write for different target audiences. For optimum success at GCSE, these skills need to be in place by the end of Year 9.

I can help your child to develop these skills and use them with confidence. I have 12 years of teaching experience in top schools and my 2015 GCSE class achieved 50% A 50% A*.

I also have 5 years experience as Head of Drama so can help with GCSE and A Level Drama and Theatre Studies as well as preparing monologues for auditions.
