klove
Has anyone had a new boiler fitted recently? If so, how much did it cost you (including parts and labour)? Our boiler is finally dying and we're bracing ourselves for something in the region of ?3000, is that realistic? firstchoicegary
All depends on what boiler and its output . . I'm sure you can get it done for 2.5k as advised by the last comment. . shop around and look for deals some gas registered plumbers are approved by the likes of Bosch and Worcester so you get a longer guarantee i think. monica
Getting a new boiler as we speak, have had quotes around ?3000. Have been told I need to change pipes to increase water pressure to boiler, and then have been told I don't. Luckily I have been shopping around for quotes, and will be getting Hunter Heating solutions to do the work. Thanks Billy for your honesty, you are a star *****:) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/89659-new-boiler-how-much-was-yours/#findComment-952540 Share on other sites

monica
Fredrick, the job is very complex, its not only a boiler swap. I have an old condenser boiler and an emersion heater, in the loft space. So you can understand why its that price. Its a very involved job. Rosetta
Have a look at MJC Plumbing in SE1. I found them on Checkatrade, with lots of good reviews. I haven't used them yet, but am planning to. Very competitive estimate. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/89659-new-boiler-how-much-was-yours/#findComment-954864 Share on other sites
