Whether you are considering taking your child to martial arts classes for self-defence or just simply want to get them fit. JKD Kickboxing Academy has something for them.

Our classes are focused in South London. We have classes currently in Dulwich Leisure Centre.

Classes for girls and boys aged 6+ (6 - 15yrs)

?5 per lesson thereafter.

Thursday 5:00 - 6:00pm

Location Address: Dulwich Leisure Centre, 2b Crystal Palace Rd, London, SE22 9HB.

What will you need to get your child started?

They don't need any special equipment to try one of our classes. A t-shirt and jogging bottoms is fine and the desire for a challenge! We will guide them through their first lesson and answer any questions you may have.

The kids will need to bring comfortable clothing to each class. The Kids Martial Arts classes does require the correct uniform, however, we are flexible in when you purchase these uniforms as we know kids have a lot going on with a lot of expenses. We ideally like to have the kids in the uniform by their second or third month of training. The uniform are well-made kickboxing t-shirt and shorts/trouser which are not very expensive and very durable.

Our goals is to help our students become better human beings and develop self-confidence through focused, high quality, professional tuition. Our emphasis is on helping children learn and develop together in a safe, fun and friendly environment.

    • On the lookout for boxes for moving. If anyone has any going, I’d be very appreciative. My number is 07538570543. Thank you, Jeanie
    • Thats the most WTF mental road scheme in London. I drive it every day hoping that I might see a cyclist making the most of this crazy road. I rarely see one, certainly fewer than one a day. I can’t help noticing that Southwark and Lewisham are under the spell of Sadiq Khan's innumerate gnomes. But that’s the green lobby for you all mouth and no maths. Don’t get me wrong I’m all for saving the planet, I just want to know that properly dressed grownups who don’t have blue streaked hair are in charge of that. Oh well, I’m off to Sainsburys with my three small kids to do my weekly shop now. They’ll have to carry their share of the bags as we fight to get on the bus. Then they’ll have to walk the half mile from the stop to our house. Maybe I’ll get one of those child murderer cargo bikes and a grin of unmerited entitlement.  There We Are Then.
    • Is the skate park going to remain? Would love to think yes, but prob not.
    • I find that if you give your name and mobile number when replying and say when you can collect (eg I can collect this evening at X) you are far more likely to be successful.  I also prioritise people who say please and thank you - simple manners.  You can also block people who fail to show or respond in a timely manner.
