Experienced English Nanny Available

Hi

I currently work in Brixton for two lovely families as a Nanny in a share for three days per week. Unfortunately, one of the families are leaving the share as Mum has had a second child and wants to spend time with both whilst on maternity leave.

Therefore, we are looking for another family to join the share. The little girl I look after will be 2 years old in April and is very sociable and gorgeous. Ideally I would like another baby or toddler to look after.

I am also available for 5 days so if you need a Nanny and think a share would work part of the time, or just need a Nanny for one or more days please contact me. I am happy to do any hours.

Below is a little about myself.

I am an English Nanny with over twenty years? experience from new-born to 12+ years old. I am very calm and have lots of patience. I have looked after most of my little charges from either new-born or 3-5 months old through to school age and still have contact with them all, either by seeing them or via social media. I am used to all the normal Nanny duties including preparing healthy well balanced meals, potty training, taking the children to various activities and playgroups, helping with homework and generally making sure they are happy and safe. I am hard working, dedicated with a muck in attitude and have worked long term for my employers. I am fun and loving and enjoy being with children especially babies and toddlers. I love taking them through the various development stages and seeing them grow in confidence. I am fair but firm and all my previous charges are extremely well mannered and polite children.

Nannying for me is a vocation not just a job. I can supply excellent checkable references and most of my previous employers are contactable by telephone or email. I am Ofsted registered, have a Paediatric First Aid Certificate and CRB (DBS) but these will need to be renewed as just out of date. I have a full clean driving licence, can drive both manual and automatic and have my own car.

Also happy to take on PA or other duties and babysitting.

Thank you.

we're looking for a nanny mon-Wed starting from February but the start date can be flexible. Our baby will be 11 months old and we are in herne hill.

We'd love to hear back from you and I don't think you've put your name anywhere?!

    • I've not engaged in this debate so far but you can't be more wrong. In the UK our own language is English, there is a small minority who can rightly claim their language is Welsh or Gaelic, and a couple Cornish. British Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Christians, atheists etc will usually speak British, even if not their first language.  The vast majority will be able to understand English.   A small percentage, less than two percent, of people living in the UK have little or no English (census data).  It is right that in certain situations eg schools there is signage and information in other languages, providing public information. It is wrong that a political party do this, particularly one who came across as opportunist on this occasion. There is an interesting conversation about British expats living, for example, on the continent, where I expect huge swathes who can hardly say a word of French, Spanish etc.
