We are British parents who lived in Italy for a year and have just moved back to our home in East Dulwich. Our baby daughter was born in Italy and we're looking for an Italian nanny who can look after her 3 to 4 days a week from May. Vorrei praticare il mio italiano e anche per mia figlia a parlare un po' d'italiano! Please get in contact via private message if you're interested.

Hi there,

My name is Tommaso, I'm an aupair in Herne Hill and I'm 24 and from Bergamo in the north of Italy. I am currently looking after a 5 year old boy, a 2 year old girl and a baby boy.

Unfortunately, since I will be working until the beginning of July with my current family,I won't be able to nanny for your daughter from May. However, I thought I'd let you know that I am available if you would like me to just come and baby sit, playing with your daughter, speaking Italian, Mondays and Wednesdays 9.15 - 2.45 or any weekend and school holidays all day, or indeed any evening if you and your husband fancy just practising your Italian yourselves.

Fammi sapere se sei interessata, il mio numero e' 0793 4005921 oppure la mia mail e' [email protected].

A presto!

Tommaso

    • Please be aware that there is a huge sheet of ice approx 12ft x 6ft on the road at the top end of Avondale Rise on the left hand side approaching Ivanhoe Road.  The council was told earlier this morning, but advised that, due to a reduced service, it is unlikely that grit /salt will be spread before Monday!  Several (thankfully minor) accidents have happened since this morning.  A resident has thoughtfully erected a temporary sign to advise traffic of the hazard, but bearing in mind that temperatures are due to fall to -4 over the weekend and this is on a bus route, please be very careful if driving on this road.
    • Paul was great for us - came round at an ungodly hour of the day at short notice to fix a problem. Very nice bloke too
