heidinut
I've recently dug and filled a wildlife pond, and I've heard that the best way to plant it is from other local ponds. Does anyone have any overgrown pond plants they would like to thin out and donate to my pond?Thank you! Jennys
Perhaps the wildlife gardening centre in Marsden Road might be able to help you. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/90665-wanted-wildlife-pond-plants/#findComment-951109 Share on other sites
heidinut
I did try them but sadly they don't sell or give pond plants anymore. Apparently the pond they were using to harvest from became so populated with wildlife they let it be! Fair enough! However ponds still need to be kept free of too much vigourous growth, so fingers crossed some spare will turn up!
