Music sale @ South London Music Sat 6 Feb

Recommended Posts

Hello!

We are a small independent music retailer based near East Dulwich Station. We are trying to reach out to the local community and raise awareness of our shop!

Saturday 6 February we are running a big one day clearance sale, with CDs, songbooks, instruments, stands, guitar straps, scores, leads, plectrums, scores, strings and MORE.

If you want to have a look at particular items we are offering we are releasing them daily on our facebook,

at https://www.facebook.com/SouthLondonMusic.

We've attached our flyer. We are based near to East Dulwich station between the Cherry Tree Pub and Grove Vale Library.

We also do repairs on strings, woodwind, brass and guitars.

Best wishes

Rupert Perkins and the South London Music team

    • Thanks. I'll call them shortly as I could get there without the car.  That's good of Sainsburys! We've done the apple pie and tart thing, an ongoing muesli thing and the coleslaw thing - just not sure what effect all the sugars are having on our digestive tracts.
    • One time Sainsbury's delivered 6 bags of apples instead of 6 single apples which I couldn't possibly get through. I phoned Pecan in Peckham to ask if they would accept them despite their website stating no fresh foods. I must have phoned at just the right time as they were happy to accept them. Sainsburys gave me a refund so the donation was courtesy of them. Or you could experiment with all kinds of apple recipes and write a blog about it
    • There's a food bank off Dog Kennel Hill. Albrighton Community Fridge. https://www.albrightoncommunityfridge.org/ I'm sure they would welcome them, but maybe check first, as they don't actually mention fresh fruit on their website? But apples aren't that perishable. Drop off seven days a week 9 - 5. Be warned if you are going by car, parking can be very difficult, easiest if there are two of you so one person can take the food in while the other can move the car if necessary.
    • Food banks for sure and what about approaching these schools in area that run summer camps - although having said that with health and safety being so strict might not allow it - crazy really.    Can’t remember name of church but was one in Peckham that from memory did a community meal a couple of times a week. Now they for sure would take them and probably Kingswood House as well.
