Hi Guys,

I think we might have just the thing!

We are selling our 2 bed garden flat in Herne Hill and have only just put it on the market (as in it went live on Pedder website yesterday). Accordingly we could really use someone being there whilst we go through with the sale, but cannot offer a long let.

Perhaps this might suit both?

We could offer a discounted rent and we have it part-furnished, as in a couple of sofas but no beds.

Does that sound at all interesting?

I have attached a couple of low res photos, but maybe you would like to view?

Let me know.

Hi Polly

I wonder if I may know the perfect tenants for you. I have friends - a couple and their cousin who lives with them. They are mature, hard working, responsible and generally all round good eggs. Because of unforeseen circumstances they will have to vacate their rented flat. If I were in your position I would be very happy to rent to them as they will really respect your property.

Maybe you could ring me on 07947130798 and I will let you know a bit more.

Best wishes

Patty

    • Anywhere near the Overground/Windrush due to its excellent transport links.  You will get larger place in SE23 for example that will give you enough spare cash for private school if that's what you really want but states schools generally good, reflecting the demographic  Easy to get to the bustling streets of East Dulwich but in ten years see what happens to Forest Hill centre.  The whole of the area is full of green spaces. Access to East Croydon for days out in the South Coast
    • Could East Dulwich or Forest Hill work? Some properties on Underhill Road and Wood Vale have large gardens e.g.  https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/161079866#/?channel=RES_BUY  You'd be close to the Horniman, Dulwich Park and Peckham Rye. Transport might not be what you're looking for though e.g. a 15 minute walk to Forest Hill station for the East London line or mainline into London Bridge.
    • I would leave London, or at a push move back to north London. In SE London if you want to get away in a car you are trapped, always an hour to go the first 10 miles, chugging up to the M4 or round the south circular, which is really just a line someone drew connecting a load of roads. and I know there are trains but first you have to get to those mainline stations, unless you only want to leave London to go to Kent. which I don't.
    • It was you who  made it personal in the first place,  Jazzer. You said you didn't feel safe in the streets,  and you said you didn't go to Central London because you didn't feel safe there. So are you now saying that wasn't "personal"? "Fire from the hip." Another interesting choice of words 🙄 I'm not "demanding" anything! I asked you some perfectly reasonable questions in  response to your own statements. None of which you have answered. Never mind. It seems to be pointless having a discussion with you. It's long past my bedtime. I'm going to turn on my sleep app  and go to sleep 😴💤
