Finishing Point - brilliant flooring company we've just used!

We've just had wooden floors put in our house by Finishing Point (http://www.finishingpointltd.com) based in Herne Hill. I really could not recommend this company highly enough. Derek was incredibly professional and went above and beyond to ensure everything was made easy for us. He came around early one morning, before we went to work, to measure up, dropped off different style floor board samples so we could see what they looked like in our house before committing to a certain colour and sent us texts and pictures updating us with his progress. Finishing Point left the house incredibly clean, no dust and even put protective felt pads on the few pieces of furniture we had left in the rooms we were having done. The final bill was exactly as expected and good value for the beautiful wooden floors we now have and level of customer service we received. We've already started to recommend this company to our friends!

I would like to add a further recommendation toward Derek and the Finishing Point team.

On time, on budget, flexible on timings, to a high level of skill and care they installed 60sq.m of new engineered parquet flooring which is by no means easy. In short, they did a great job and were a pleasure to have undertake the install for us. have to send photos via PM. cheers

    • Although this sounds worrying, a "bitey" fox is unusual. I see foxes all the time where I live near Rye Lane and have never experienced this. I've even seen a fox sitting in the garden where an outdoor cat lives, whilst the cat was there - the cat was fine and is still alive. I think my flat is on a fox path because I hear and see them most nights, none of the local cats seem bothered by them. I can't help but wonder what would make the fox act in such a way, I've just read that toxoplasmosis might make them more aggressive
    • Purse with cash and cards (including photo card) found in road local to East Dulwich Tabernacle. It will be here (107 Barry Road) all day (Sunday 21 December) if you want to collect or PM me.  In case some one else who knows R Howard, please alert her.    Thank you
    • Thanks Sue.  No the car just drove on.  We don't know if they noticed.  We were driving behind.  We were just glad we could be with the cat, and take him to the vet, rather than leaving him there 😞
    • Certainly the infamous (and mythical) SE London cat killer turned out to be foxes attacking dying and dead cats injured by cars, but fox: cat encounters do appear to happen, even where cats are victorious. Fox: adult humans less so. At least where foxes are the aggressors.
