Gritting (Duplicate Thread)

Drove from Marmora Road (worst ice in East Dulwich?) to Battersea last night. Took an hour to get into Borough of Lambeth where roads seemed free of ice. Once in Wandsworth I was able to drive so normally that I think I was flashed by a speed camera!

Marmora Road - pavement and road - remain lethal, to the point that I am scared to leave the house as my balance is poor and I don't want an ankle in plaster for Christmas! We've not been gritted at any point in the last five days. A poor friend of mine had to drive from here to Finchley yesterday - it took him five hours, but he said the worst bit of the whole journey was Marmora and Scutari Roads.
