Am I alone in assuming that no concrete change will be brought about by the latest in a string of embarressing hand-wringing events carried out by officials with clothes pegs pinching their noses to block out the stench of the bullshit they're handling.

The Hutton inquiry was sold to an anxious public promising to shed light on the mysterious death of Dr David Kelly. But what happened to the so called 'inquiry' element of the whole saga? It was snuffed out by ambitious war-mongerers quicker than the focus of the report it was 'supposed' to be investigating. What wasn't run by the U.S embassy was scrubbed from the truth to calm anyone who showed even the slightest of interest. Leading the whole charade down the slope of disinterest until all you heard in relation to the inquiry was the paper shredder consigning another swath of the Amazon to make toilet paper.

The Iraq inquiry is yet another of these so called inquiry's that seem to be near conclusion before any of the general public is even aware of whats/whose being discussed, or indeed, accused. The question being 'did we need to go to war and was it legal'. Well, in the general scheme of asking these questions it's escaped any of the esteemed judges as to whether any serious charges should be brought against renegade decision makers. So far so good for those under scrutiny because for all the harrumphing and staring the panel has made it known to the media (aswell as those in the spotlight) that no criminal charges would ever likely be brought into discusion.

I don't know if the Met office is aware that there's an unacceptable amount of hot air amasing above Copenhagen as we speak.

What will mother nature make of all this climate vandalism on her behalf. The clouds will certainly be feeling the heat in any case.

    • Gosh, calm down.. How about not getting so heated, and not eat for 24 hours with sips of water? Try it and you may, just may understand, starvation, no water. No meds at all even if you need them - hasten to add, don’t do it at all if you are medically dependent. In fact, why doesn’t ED - do this for half a day - say in Oct, when everyone has come back from enjoying their, hols, new term starting and as a community, we could all be 1.? Before, November, fireworks, etc.
    • Many thanks I have sent them a message
    • Stop foreign aid spend and re-direct those funds to improve the lives of UK citizens.  People shouldn't have to rely on charities and food banks, their is enough food wasted in this country already which could be re-directed.  Let their own Govts feed them, why does the UK have to do it, how about other nations contributing.  Well if aid can't reach them, how are they supposed to be fed if as you say food parcels being dropped from planes doesn't work.  Lets sort out this country first and put UK citizens first for a change.
    • Well that really is not Christian Spirit at all - we all live in this world and yes, totally agree that it would be wonderful to have no conflict in the world but that is not possible. Yes we have people in need of food  in this country but overall enough charities and organisation in the west to help. We are talking about thousands of people who are starving - not just going hungry - a huge difference would you not agree ? Aid can’t reach people - for whatever conflict and don’t think people dropping parcels, boxes etc from planes would be the answer either.
