ZONE 2 PROPERTY..

2 Separate bedrooms in an East Dulwich house for rent, this is perfect for two friends that want to live together but don't want to apply for a property or two singles looking individually.

The rooms are huge, they are super spacious and you will have lots of space for activities. Both rooms come furnished with a wardrobe, chest of drawers, bed and mattress (the mattress is brand new), you are free to change the room around, the stickers on the wall will be removed.

The house also has 2 bathrooms, a large lounge room and a kitchen with a washing machine.

You will be living with 2 guys and 2 girls, all working, friendly and easy going people who take pride in keeping the house clean. So they are looking for house mates who are tidy and clean up after them selves.

The area is beautiful, if your new to London its a homely suburb, lots of cafes, restaurants, 10 mins walk to East Dulwich station, 5-10 min bus ride to Peckham & Forest Hill which all get you to London bridge in 10 mins. The overground also takes you to Canada water not far from the financial district of canary wharf. there are 24 hour busses, the 12 and 176 that come very frequently and drop you off around the corner from the house.

Sorry no couples or room sharers at the landlords request.

We require a payslip or a letter from your employer to confirm that you can afford to live in the property, please contact me if you need more assistance on this.

    • My mum (91 years young!) well remembers going to Austin's as a child, which she described as an 'Aladdin's Cave'!  She absolutely loved it - and is still a shopping fiend to this day (I 'blame' Austin's 😉). Going back up Peckham Rye, passing Austin's on your right hand-side, just past Phillips Walk (so not far from Austin's at all), I believe there was a British Relay Wireless shop - this would have been in the late 1930s/early 1940s.  Does anyone know anything about this? My grandad (my mum's dad) used to manage it; it was severely damaged in The Blitz - but I am having trouble locating it.  Mum's memory is dim (she was 6 at the time); she originally thought it was in Rye Lane, but we think now it was in Peckham Rye just up from Phillips Walk (originally Phillips Road).
    • Thanks everyone, this will need to be reported again as the fox was still mobile and walking down the road when last seen... hopefully someone will spot and report.
