Sususudio,

I don't think you should feel any guilt, no matter what conversations, or thoughts you've had in the past few days or weeks. It is totally natural that you should play out every possible circumstance in your mind, and is the only way for you to cope with what must have been a very stressful situation.

I'm so happy to hear that you had a positive meeting with Prof Nicolaides and that all is well with your baby.

Take care now, and try to relax and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy...better for you and baby than all this worrying.

Hi susudio,

using my husband login but he won't mind.

I had a CVS in October 2008 as I was told I had 1 in 2 chance to have a down's baby.

The procedure is more scary than painful. It is uncomfortable and please don't look... Unfortunately, they told me it was finished and found myself staring at the needle...

The staff at Kings could not have been more helpful and lovely and profesional. They really looked after us . It was the best decision for us as we wanted to know.

The results were negative and I now have a healthy 8 months baby.

I had loads of routine scans afterwards but i would recommend it so that you know.

Good luck.

Found TD Plumbfix Solutions via the East Dulwich Forum and within an hour of making contact, Troy had sent one of his team to have a look. They were absolutely brilliant, from start to finish. Kept me informed of what they were doing, gave me a few tips on future do and don'ts, and finished the job in such a way that should make it easy for me to fix should the problem arise in the future.  Intend using again in near future for a couple of small jobs and would wholly recommend this firm to anyone.
    • Typically the way 'family run businesses' operate is either to have family members continue the business, or to sell on, either as a site (in this instance) or as a going concern. Either which way this is the way the owners create a 'pension' from the business. The number of suggestions as to alternatives makes me feel that the market for small repairing garages locally may be well served, so selling on the site makes the best financial sense for the owners. It's a sign not of the times but of normal business realities.
    • I agree it's a shame, but it is not a "sign of the times", unless you think that up to now people have never grown older and retired!
