The Nappy Lady
Sususudio,I don't think you should feel any guilt, no matter what conversations, or thoughts you've had in the past few days or weeks. It is totally natural that you should play out every possible circumstance in your mind, and is the only way for you to cope with what must have been a very stressful situation.I'm so happy to hear that you had a positive meeting with Prof Nicolaides and that all is well with your baby.Take care now, and try to relax and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy...better for you and baby than all this worrying.Mollyx Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/9313-down-syndrome-testing/page/2/#findComment-281649 Share on other sites
Don Quixote
Hi susudio, using my husband login but he won't mind.I had a CVS in October 2008 as I was told I had 1 in 2 chance to have a down's baby. The procedure is more scary than painful. It is uncomfortable and please don't look... Unfortunately, they told me it was finished and found myself staring at the needle...The staff at Kings could not have been more helpful and lovely and profesional. They really looked after us . It was the best decision for us as we wanted to know. The results were negative and I now have a healthy 8 months baby.I had loads of routine scans afterwards but i would recommend it so that you know.Good luck.
