Beautiful victorian style lamp shade for sale. "Garden lampshade". Handmade and imported from the USA.

This is a very vintage lampshade that is made from a black burn-out silk velvet with an amazing feathered pattern in the fabric.? This is a large lampshade that is perfect for a large wooden floor lamp or large table lamp. Measures 26" across the bottom.?

It lights up beautifully with light coming through the fabric and plenty of light cast downward for reading or lighting your room.? There is a middle lining under the velvet -- this fabric is a bronze and wine variegated silk which adds more color to the lighted shade. The fringe is a bronze silky colour with a black tip.?

- Does anyone remember an incident from the late 90s/early 00s in which a young man fell to death from Dawsons Heights?

  Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.

  Was anyone else disturbed last night/early hours this morning by the party going on in someone’s garden on Crystal Palace road. Can’t see what house exactly but it’s around number 43 - 41… it was happening quite frequently last year. Seems it’s starting again! Very inconsiderate.
