Found a mobile phone this morning ( Wednesday 30th Dec ) East Dulwich Grove at 7am

You could always phone one of the numbers stored in it and then ask them whose phone it is when the name comes up at their end .....

Hi Sonia,

Please take it to the East Dulwich Police Station. They should be able to get past the code and track the owner.

Reporting it on the Forum you're only likely to reach a relatively small number of East Dulwich residents. Whereas the Police are often in receipt of lost items and something like a mobile phone should be stragiht forward for them to restore to the rightful owner.

That is exactly what I did when I found a phone in Peckham Rye Park once.
