we have food to donate: where??

hi not sure what category i should put this under but we are moving overseas and can't take any food with us therefore we have quite a lot that we would like to donate (unopened packets, tins, etc). does anyone know of a local shelter etc where we could donate it? thanks.

There is a hostel for immigrants at the top end (South end) of Barry Road, just to the left of Christchurch, in part of the original buildings.

I've donated food there before but not for a couple of years. They seemed glad for the food then.

There is the Manna Society - have not got details on me as at work, local churches, Southwark Pensioner's Group at Camberwell Green, Age Concern (Walworth Road). Most of the churches will probably have details of local shelter's etc.
