Car alarms - ignore or do you act upon it?

So irritating..one has been going off intermittently all day and now all evening and probably will do all night... I'm wishing someone would steal the damn thing now... grrrr...(6)

Well if I hear any kind of alarm I investigate, and if nothing appears to be going on I ignore it ....

But if it went on for days I would probably ring Southwark Noise Control
