Flexible music teacher/accompanist available, free 1st lesson/consultation

Recommended Posts

Ex-pupil from Alleyn's School (music scholar) offering violin lessons, piano lessons and basic music theory approx ?20 per 30 mins (negotiable) for anyone willing to learn (beginner to intermediate level).

Also able to accompany musicians on any instrument in concerts/exams (approx. ?35 per hour of my time) or just practicing with them in preparation (counts as a lesson, refer to above).

Flexible timetable means I can teach at any point throughout the day and during school holidays and can supplement/stand in for teachers who have taken leave on short notice.

Received distinction mark for ABRSM grade 8 piano and grade 7 violin in 2013 and 2012 respectively, approx diploma level now.

Experience performing and accompanying with pupils up to grade 6. Taught students between the ages of 4-15.

1st lesson/consultation free. Being based in East Dulwich I am very happy to travel.

It is never too late or too early to start learning, for whatever the reason and whatever the goal. Am willing to advise on instruments and where to buy/hire if you are a beginner. Any questions, just ask! I look forward to meeting you.

    • Anyone can deliver for Evri - my daughter having just passed her driving test tried Evri to make some money - they basically give you a route and as many parcels as they think you can cope with - you make money for each one you deliver, so you can imagine - speed is the priority. Why would they wait for you to answer the door when they can just throw it and take a photo? If you have a choice, choose a different courier service or shop elsewhere where they do.
    • Boil - it’s the customer’s fault, not the delivery person’s.
    • A bit of a long shot but I'm on the lookout for a portable pop-up counter or podium.   The kind you often see on a high street, used by charities or utility companies to advertise their wares.   I've included a photo to give you the idea. I'm a peckham-based artist and am looking for one for a free (and non-profit) community art project.  It can be in any workable condition and can already have signage on it as we will remove and redecorate ourselves.    Thanks in advance, Linzie
    • No I absolutely did not - that much is clear. Have you read the latest stories about Unite, Len and the hotel in Birmingham? The UK electorate were smart enough to reject a far-left party in 2019, let's hope they are smart enough to reject a far-right party at the next election too. If not we are all doomed.
