What happened on the Rye this morning?

I know this is extremely nosy of me but does anyone know what was going on on the Rye this morning? I saw a police car and van crossing the grass to the middle of the Rye and what seemed like a naked person squatting down with lots of police around them and some dog walkers involved. Obviously I hope no-one was injured or ill - but does anyone know more?
