Garden redesign - ground-floor flat with paving and brickwork.

Hi all,

We have a ground floor flat and looking to redo the garden before the weather starts picking up again.

We have an idea of generally what we'd like doing (we'll need brickwork - over 6ft high, floor paving, and outdoor lighting), as well as removal of what's there, which is existing paving, flowerbeds and loose-stone floor.

The style we're after is probably best described as rustic, so no modern-looking bricks, decking or turf etc. We have finishes and style examples of the key parts that we like, but it's very topline thoughts, and we'd like to talk through options along with an estimate for the work, and we'd like work to start soon really.

If i'm honest, I don't really know who we're after to do this work :-) Unsure if it's a landscaper or a building team, or both - We know pretty much what we're after so don't need blue-sky plans / designs, but ideally we'd just need one person/team. There's significant brickwork and paving needed, but we want to talk through material style and suggestions in case there's something better we could also do that we haven't considered yet.

If you think you're best placed to tackle the project (and have capacity to start soon) could you please DM?

References and examples of work would be ideal, and we can also share styles we like before your visit if needed.

Thanks,

Dan & Pam

    • Why not get a real poodle.  They can be clipped to look like a cockapoo if you like.  They don’t need to be in a show clip.  They don’t shed.    Both breeds would need regular grooming.  I have/had friends with very charming poodles both medium and standard so see if you can make the acquaintance of some.

    • Hi - I posted a request for some help with a stuck door and possible leaky roof. I had responses from Lukasz at Look_as.com and Pawel at Sublime Builders. I don't see any/many reviews - has anyone used either person?  Could use a recommendation rather then just being contact by the tradespeople... Many Thanks
